T e a c h i n g 

Sallynee has over fifteen years of experience in teaching private and group lessons, and string orchestra ensembles.  She enjoys working with students of all levels, from young beginners to university level.  While living in Bangkok, Thailand, she co-founded the first Suzuki violin program, and established a string orchestra program at the Grade 3-12 level at the International School Bangkok. Sallynee is a registered Suzuki violin instructor with the Suzuki Association of America, and received a Masters of Music degree in Violin Performance with an emphasis in Suzuki Pedagogy with Katie Lansdale and Teri Einfeld.  She has also received teacher training with Ed Kreitman and Nancy Lokken.  In 2012, Sallynee helped organize and produce an introduction to historical performance workshop in conjunction with Silpakorn University in Bangkok, and while completing her doctorate at McGill University, would coach sectionals for the McGill Baroque Orchestra.  Sallynee is currently a violin instructor at Stewart Hall Cultural Centre in Pointe-Claire, and also maintains a private studio.  For more information on lessons, please contact her here.
